Colour theory can be incomprehensible to some people but it’s invaluable for successful design.  This workshop offers an easy framework to understand the relationships between colours better, it shows how colour can be used to the artist’s best advantage and develops an awareness of the visual effects of particular combinations.  We will carry out several practical exercises, take an analytical look at how artists use colour to create different effects and consider which colour wheel is most useful for you.  By understanding colour theory you will develop the ability to use colour effectively and confidently, and to achieve your design intentions
